Restaurant compliancewithout the paperwork pileup.

Mise Logic Lab brings daily food-safety routines, workplace safety, policies, training records, incident management, HACCP and audit-ready records into one province-aware platform built specifically for Canadian restaurants.

What's Live Now

Routine Lab

Run the food, beverage and operational checks your restaurant actually needs and uses.

Build checks around your equipment, assign routines to your team, capture temperatures, manage cooling and reheating and automate specialty records like shellfish tags and sushi rice. Missed checks trigger alerts, failed checks guide corrective actions and the history shows what happened and what was done.

Safety Lab

Manage workplace health & safety from policy to follow-up.

Build and publish your policy manual, collect signed acknowledgements, track training and certifications, manage committee requirements, conduct hazard assessments and inspections, maintain WHMIS and lock out records and document incidents and corrective actions in one connected system.

We also have more Labs in development.

A line cooler goes out of range

  1. A warm reading gets entered
The reading is flagged against the range set for that piece of equipment.
  2. The fix gets recorded then and there
The team selects the corrective action taken instead of trying to remember it at the end of the shift.
  3. You can see who handled it
The reading, action, person and time stay together in the record.
  4. The record stays intact
When the sheet is signed off, missed checks stay visible and the corrective action remains attached to the original reading.

A new recipe is added

  1. Start with the recipe you already have
Upload a photo or PDF, or paste the recipe into MLL.
  2. MLL builds the first HACCP draft
The draft identifies hazards, controls, temperatures and storage considerations for review.
  3. A manager reviews the plan
Nothing goes into the finished HACCP binder just because AI generated it.
  4. The recipe can connect back to daily operations
Reviewed recipes can be added to the binder, and recipes that need cooling records can appear as quick picks in Routine Lab.

What actually happens inside Mise Logic Lab?

Four everyday restaurant situations. Here’s how the record moves through MLL.

A workplace incident happens

  1. The incident gets documented
Record what happened while the details are still fresh.
  2. The investigation stays with it
Capture the follow-up, findings and relevant information in the same record.
  3. Provincial reporting guidance appears where it applies
MLL surfaces the serious-incident reporting requirements tied to that jurisdiction.
  4. The fix doesn't disappear after the paperwork
Create a corrective action from the incident and track it separately through follow-up.

A safety policy is issued

  1. Start with the restaurant, not a blank template
The policy uses the restaurant's details, terminology and applicable province-aware clauses.
  2. The employee reviews and signs that version
The acknowledgement belongs to the actual policy they were given.
  3. MLL keeps exactly what they signed
The wording, version, signer and timestamp are preserved together.
  4. You can see what's still outstanding
Unsigned policies remain visible so managers know who still needs to complete them.
Your equipment

Fridges, freezers, hot holds, storage areas and other equipment become part of the daily workflow.

Built around the restaurant you actually operate

Already using temperature sensors?

Compatible Wi-Fi and cellular temperature sensors can feed readings directly into Routine Lab, so automated readings and manual checks can live in the same record.

Each reading is clearly identified as manual, sensor-fed or created for training, and stale sensor data is flagged so an old reading is never mistaken for a current one.

Vendor-neutral by design. If your sensor provider offers a supported gateway or API, it can be connected without locking your restaurant into one hardware brand.

Mise Logic Lab starts with your operation — not a generic template.

Set up your locations, equipment, storage areas, team structure and terminology. Routine Lab then builds daily work around the equipment and spaces that actually exist in your restaurant, while Safety Lab uses the same organization details to personalize policies, training records and workplace-safety workflows.

That means your temperature checks belong to your actual fridges and freezers, your policies use your restaurant’s details and language, and each location keeps its own records while still working from the same operating standard.

Your team

Use the terminology and structure that fit your restaurant.

Your locations

Apply the same standards across multiple sites while keeping each location’s records separate.

Know what needs attention

Missed checks, open incidents, unresolved corrective actions, expiring certifications and annual safety items stay visible until they’re handled

The research changes what the software asks you to do.

Mise Logic Lab turns Canadian regulatory requirements into structured logic the platform can use. Each rule is organized by jurisdiction, trigger, requirement, application logic, citation and verification status — so province-aware guidance can show up inside the workflows it relates to, instead of sitting in a separate reference manual.

876

Verified against a primary regulator source.

101

Marked unverified

Used where evidence is incomplete or the conclusion depends on the absence of a specific provision.

Mise Logic Lab surfaces those conservatively rather than presenting uncertainty as fact.

Verified dates are updated only when the individual rule has actually been re-checked — never by simply refreshing the date across the database.

Monthly

$49 CAD / location

Flexible month-to-month billing. No long-term commitments.

Stop piecing compliance together.

For many restaurants, compliance lives across a combination of binders, spreadsheets, and disconnected software. Mise Logic Lab connects that work.

  • Paper binders and printed forms
  • Spreadsheets and shared drives
  • Temperature or checklist software
  • Workplace safety software
  • Training records and policy documents
  • Incident forms and reminder systems

Everything stays visible until it's handled.

When a check is missed, something fails, or a certification is expiring, the system keeps it front and center. Less hunting, less duplicate administration, and a clearer record of what your restaurant actually did.

Helpful Answers

Details on the free trial, pricing, what’s included and how Mise Logic Lab works for Canadian restaurants.

How does the free trial work?

Start with a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required and there is no automatic billing. At the end of the trial, simply choose a monthly or annual plan if you want to keep using Mise Logic Lab.

What does it cost after the trial?

The Compliance Bundle is $49 CAD/month or $500 CAD/year per restaurant location, plus applicable taxes. Payments are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.

What’s included in the Compliance Bundle?

Every subscription includes both Routine Lab and Safety Lab. Routine Lab handles daily restaurant routines and available food-safety workflows. Safety Lab covers workplace safety, policies, training and certifications, incidents, prevention and safety governance.

Is pricing based on staff count?

No. Mise Logic Lab does not use per-user pricing. Your subscription is priced per restaurant location, so adding or changing team members doesn’t add another per-person software charge.

What provinces do you support?

Yes. Mise Logic Lab is a Canadian restaurant operations platform and can be used by restaurants across Canada. Our deepest province-specific compliance content currently exists for British Columbia, Ontario and Alberta, and we’re actively building out the remaining Canadian provinces. Once Canadian coverage is expanded, the next planned market is the United States.

Does one subscription cover multiple restaurant locations?

Mise Logic Lab is built to support multi-location and enterprise restaurant groups. Standard pricing is per restaurant location. For larger organizations, contact us to discuss enterprise onboarding, deployment, billing and portfolio pricing.

What happens if something is missed or goes wrong?

Mise Logic Lab is designed to do more than store completed forms. It can flag missed work, guide corrective action, keep unresolved items visible and retain the records showing what was actually done.

What if I pay and decide Mise Logic Lab isn’t right for my restaurant?

Paid subscriptions include a 30-day money-back guarantee after purchase. Refunds are handled through Paddle, our Merchant of Record.

BUILT FROM RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE

Built by a restaurant operator, not a software company.

Mise Logic Lab grew out of nearly 20 years of restaurant systems, spreadsheets, policies and late-night fixes. I built it because I got tired of seeing operators lose time chasing paperwork, digging through binders and scrambling when inspections came around.
